Driven by a lifelong passion for bicycles, the outdoors, and how they can enhance lives. Embracing lifelong learning and continual improvement as our economies and behaviors evolve with technological change.

Immediately prior to joining the team at CrankTank, I was Operations Manager at Contender Bicycles in Salt Lake City, UT where amongst other swiss-army duties, I streamlined the process for parts procurement, assembly and outbound shipping for the rapidly growing number of out-of-state custom halo-builds generated by the store’s website. It was a great experience to assist and learn with the store and key partners in how to expand a successful brick and mortar IBD into a sustainable future where web-based sales are friends not foes.

In 2017, I started working at Rotor America, where as part of a small but hungry and scrappy team handling the day to day tasks of a mid-sized brand importer, marketer and distributor, we built a new North American-focused website.  We designed the site as an informational resource for Rotor’s broad and technical product offerings that also performed as a marketing funnel to capture D2C sales, ensuring customers understood and purchased the correct products for their needs amongst the myriad choices while increasing the gross margin of our business.

I began working for Shimano/Pearl Izumi in 2014 as a factory sales rep covering Utah, Eastern Idaho and Western Wyoming.  The diversity of my accounts in size, focus, location, strategy and seasonality greatly enhanced my understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing retailers and by default, their manufacturer partners.  These observations were particularly pointed as the rep of a dominant component brand with global reach across a number of distribution channels.

Outside of the office, I do what I can to stay fast on my bike to keep up with the quick Masters enduro racers around the Rocky Mountain west. I’ve served on the boards of the Colorado Mountain Bike Association and the Salt Lake Valley Trails Society, working to grow their membership numbers and negotiate with land managers to increase trail mileage in their respective regions. While working at Rotor and Contender from 2017 to 2019, I completed the MBA program at the University of Utah, with a focus on digital marketing and international business.  I’m excited to combine my recent education with decades of ground level industry experience to help CrankTank’s clients expand and strengthen their customer relationships while growing their revenue and margins.
