Our “Super 6” D2C sales clients had a fantastic Q4 with 208%-122%-100%-93%-35%-34% Year-Over-Year growth respectively.

LOOKING AT Q4 D2c Sales IN DETAIL

The consumer continues to spend online. We had expected the market to cool but the recession be damned…

D2C sales still outpacing B2B sales posting strong Q4 finish

THINKING AHEAD TO 2023

We have seen projections for D2C sales anywhere from a low of ~6% to a high of 17%, so we split the two and feel comfortable aiming for 10% growth in the coming year.

To maximize D2C sales you must have your website and Amazon strategies aligned and working in tandem. Allowing 3rd party sellers at 10-20% off on Amazon and double digit webstore sales not only puts your brand in purgatory with your B2B/retailer channels, but it also rewards bad behavior by your most loyal customers and negatively affects Lifetime Customer Value (LCV). If you need assistance with your Amazon Channel we are here to help.

ON THE ROAD AGAIN

We will be on the road in 2023, starting the year at the Outdoor Retailer Snow show in January, The Bicycle Leadership Conference in March, Sea Otter Classic in April, and Unbound and Eurobike in June to round out the first half of the year. We hope to see you soon!
